The past few years have been challenging for us all, to say the least. However, throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, the team at Fischer Porter & Thomas has remained committed to providing great legal services to our clients through thick and thin. Because of this commitment to our clients, we managed to persevere through the shutdown and the uncertainty of remote work. Now, not only have we weathered the storm, but FPT has managed to thrive as a law firm. We are now fully back in the office and vigorously representing clients.
While a sense of normalcy is returning, the way we practice law has undoubtedly changed. Since the start of the Pandemic, the court system and our litigation cases moved forward at glacial speeds, but with the help of Zoom, Team Viewer and Skype we fought for our clients at the negotiating table, in mediations, at arbitrations, and in court. Now, slowly, we are beginning to practice law and represent clients with in-person meetings, actual court appearances, and—believe it or not—live mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
We have even started to again publish the Fischer Porter & Thomas Newsletter. Since we value communication and transparency in our relationships with clients, the Fisher Porter & Thomas Newsletter will be published on a quarterly basis going forward. It is a modest attempt to bring to light important legal issues, updates on the firm, and no-nonsense insights into practical legal problems for our clients and friends.
As always, please feel free to contact any of our experienced attorneys who we have profiled on the web site. We look forward to seeing you and working with you this year and in many years to come.
Very Truly
Yours, Scott Porter
